December 2019
After numerous visits and meeting with potential partners, peers and clients in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and San Diego, we have taken the decision to launch our US based Company CRUX - Corporate Real Estate User Experience. We will focus on real estate and workplace strategy supported by workplace change management services.
Early in the New Year we will be setting up our offices and starting to grow the business and recruit the best people to work with us - watch this space!
Several recent visits to both New York and the West Coast have revealed the significant volume of real estate construction, renovation and relocation projects underway in Manhattan with a particular focus on Hudson Yards and Mid-Town around Grand Central. The scale of new developments and new ways of working on the West Coast, particularly for life sciences and high tech are significant
The unique market that is New York City, is awash with projects and following conversations we have had with potential partners and clients on our recent visits, we believe that there is a real opportunity for our niche, tenant focused real estate/workplace strategic advisory service.
In San Francisco and Los Angeles we have been meeting with tech and media company executives to explore how we can best help them Our service complements that of other professional advisers and brokers, seen as a value added service, and as in the UK, it will help tenants make sure their approach to accommodation is aligned to their business model.
A return visit later in 2019 is planned to progress this initiative.
