Implementation of UK Wide Agile Working, Regional Portfolio Consolidation and Developments & London Accommodation Strategy
We were commissioned by the Property and Workplace Management team in Network Rail to design and implement agile working practices across their entire UK office portfolio. Futhermore, we were then instructed to review regional sites for consolidation and development opportunities and develop a robust estate strategy to improve the efficiency and reduce the cost of the London office estate.
Whilst the content of the business cases are confidential, the outcome of three years' work with Network Rail saw the portfolio reduce by over 25%. New development sites were identified generating potential new revenues of c£40m, plus savings delivered and costs avoided exceeded £19m per annum; all of this in addition to providing greater flexibility, efficiency and effectiveness of the retained estate.
